Jess’ Juices

Jess’ Juices

Is it a bit pretentious putting up recipes for juices? I’m slightly torn on the whole thing as on the one hand I know they are very good for you and everyone seems obsessed with them, but on the other hand I can’t help feel like a bit of a wannabe Deliciously Ella and like I’d much rather just be eating a packet of prawn cocktail crisps

Anyway I started to make these during one of those dreadful moments where you think someone has cloned your card and stolen all your money so you check and then realise, no – it’s just my daily Joe and the Juice habit (£130 a month. I need help)

Spoiler: these are all more sort of smoothie texture as I use a Nutri-bullet

For all of the below, add all ingredients into your blender and then fill to the recommended limit with water (or coconut water if that’s your thing)

Peach and Nectarine (pictured)

  • 1 apple
  • 250g frozen nectarines/peaches (I use this bag here)
  • 2 large handfuls spinach
  • Juice of ½ lemon (or more to taste)

Avocado and Apple (total dupe for Joe and the Juice “Fibre Active)

  • 2 apples
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 large handful spinach
  • Juice of ½ lemon (or more to taste)

Apple and Cucumber (tastes great blended with Gin and ice. Or so I’ve heard)

  • 2 apples
  • Half cucumber
  • 1 large handful spinach
  • Small bunch mint
  • Juice of ½ lemon (or more to taste)
